Do you ever wonder how some businesses big and small got their start? Do you ever wonder what their secret is? Some business owners strike gold with a new product or service that is in demand, while others struggle to keep momentum up while competing against other businesses and brands. The common ground that all of us business owners can stand on is something called persistance.
According to Dictionary.com, The definition of Persistance is as follows:
” the act of persisting; continued effort or existence”
Seems pretty simple and straight-forward, right? That’s because it is. But most startup small business owners fail to realize is that lack of persistence can act as a blindfold and cover up the light at the other side of the bridge. Some of the most successful companies today started as small garage/home office ideas and bloomed into something much bigger. Many of these businesses didn’t see, taste, or feel success right away. In fact, most experienced rejection, trial and error, and failure. Failure isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It should be used to motivate you to succeed and persist. Ah, there’s that word again.
Bottom line is this; if you are a start-up small business experiencing a rut, or you feel that nothing is happening the way you were hoping, keep the persistance up, and keep your eyes on the end goal. If you can do this, then you’re destined for success.
Until Next Time!
