We make the web design process easy from beginning to end. Below is a list to help summarize the experience and steps in us helping you build a 1st-class professional new website.

This document is designed to explain the design process from beginning to end.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact us, as we’re always here to help.

1. Registering Your Domain Name
After client decides to hire us to build and host their new website, the contract is signed, and we have received the deposit check to start work, the first step is to register a domain name. This is the (www.Yoursite.com) name associated with your site that people will type in search browsers to find your website.  After you decide on your top picks, we will determine which of those picks are available for use and counsel. If you happen to already have a domain name, we will gladly manage it for you.

2. Email Accounts and Web Hosting
Every website needs email accounts setup, and in this step, we will setup as many email accounts as needed. Web hosting is offered by Thrive Web Designs as an affordable option and we manage everything for you. If you already own hosting or will purchase your own, we will have no control over your account or emails associated with your website.

3. Designing an Intro Page and Taking It Live
Before your website is complete, we include a free intro or “splash” page. This page is a temporary page and will display your contact information for potential customers to reach you. 

4. Layout Design (Designer) and Content Gathering (Client)
This part of the process is where we design the layout, or graphic architecture of your website. It is helpful ahead of time for you to send us examples of websites you like and why you like them. This helps us get a feel for a direction to go with your design.

After we have a layout to present, we will wait for your approval of the design. We guarantee to re-work the design, as many times as it takes to make sure you are 100% satisfied.  Once you have approved the layout, we are ready for content. You should have all of your content you would like on your site for each page typed out and ready to send over to us via email.  

5. Content
Now that the layout is done, it is time for us to take all of the content that you have gathered and evenly and neatly place it inside the website. At this step in the game, we may add pictures, correct grammar and make sure the pages are as optimal as can be.

6. Final Review and Client Approval
At this time, the website is nearly complete with a few minor details left like proof-reading the site and looking it over for small mistakes. Once we are ready, we will present a website to you for your viewing. Once you approve of the finished product, we will send you a money request for the remaining payment and launch the website live.

7. Taking Your Site Online
Once you have approved the finished product and pending final payment, we will upload your site onto the web. Sometimes this process is as quick as one hour from delivery of payment. The entire web design process from beginning to end averages 4-6 weeks, although in many cases we can have a website completed from start to finish in 20 days.
