Our Web Design Process Explained.
Our #1 goal is to provide a seamless process from beginning to end for our clients. The team at Thrive will work with you throughout each step of the process to ensure that deadlines are met, and you’re 100% satisfied at every checkpoint.
Step 1. Gather Project Information & Needs
We will gather as much information about your business and goals for your new website. Whether an in-person meeting, phone call or email, you won’t be waiting long to hear from us as we keep all communication lines clear at all times.
Once we get all of the specs needed for your project, we will get you a detailed web design proposal/cost estimate within 24 hrs, usually same-day.
Step 2. Send You A Web Design Proposal/Estimate
Once our client decides to move forward with Thrive on their new website, we’ll discuss the first steps in designing you the “front page” layout, or choosing from some designed themes. This all depends on if the client prefers a 100% custom-designed website, or requests a site using WordPress which is great for maintaining on their end.
Step 3. Initial Design Concept, and/or Theme Decision
Once the initial designed layout or concept has been chosen, we will work with our client on any designed elements. At the time they are satisfied with the visual presentation, it’s time to move on to Step 4, Development.
Step 4. Development of Full Site
During the development stage, we’ll be building the actual website, all pages, menu structure, slideshows and galleries, creating any custom functionality that was previously discussed with the client, etc. Once the main pieces of each page have been put together, we’ll take your content and images and format each page accordingly.
Step 5. Edits, Revisions, Finalizing and Basic SEO before Launch
Once the site is at a stage where we feel it’s nearly complete, we’ll send you a link to review each page and give you the opportunity to provide us with edits, additions. Once you give us the green light to go live, we’ll do our basic SEO sweep of each page and then prepare to take the site live.
