Thrive Web Designs had the pleasure of building a custom website, custom logo and brand identity, and a 6×2 banner for Aya Eneli International in August. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Aya and are proud to feature her in our client spotlight section.

Aya is a motivational speaker, author, and life coach. For over two decades, Aya has been sharing her success strategies and empowering administrators, executives, teachers, salespeople, medical practitioners, business leaders and women, men and youth of all ages and ethnicities to create lives that utilize their talents and fulfill their deepest hearts’ desires.

Here is our featured Q&A with Aya Eneli:

What is the basis or purpose of your business?
Aya Eneli International is the premier provider of biblically based success strategies designed to empower and equip individuals to create and live lives of purpose and fulfillment. We accomplish this through keynote presentations, in-house workshops, seminars, life coaching, articles and books.

Why did you decide to become an author and motivational speaker?
I have the gift of encouragement and have always loved to write. I was featured on a few television shows as a child and a seed was planted in me when, at age eight, I was invited to be the Keynote Speaker for Nigeria’s national celebration of the International Year of the Child. It is my life’s purpose to empower and teach others to live the life of abundance Christ died to give us all, and the feedback I have gotten from clients I have worked with motivated me to establish this as my career..

How do you balance running your business while being a wife and mother of
five?

Very carefully. Our household is a very busy one. With five academically and athletically gifted children ages 23 months through 12 years, and a husband with a demanding career as a physician, organization has been the key. I work primarily from home during the school hours which enables me to be available to my family before and after school. If it does not get done between 8 a.m. and 2: 30 p.m., then chances are it won’t get done at all. When I have writing deadlines, I also work late at night after everyone else is asleep.

What advice do you have for anyone thinking of starting his or her own
business?
Follow your passion. Don’t just start a business because someone else was successful at it. Get educated and make the investments in creating a marketing plan. Remember, nothing happens until someone sells something. Dream big, work hard and don’t despise humble beginnings.

What is your top marketing tip and why?
Have a strong web presence, it increases credibility. The Internet is a huge marketing tool that opens up the whole world to your business. Whether you are in a town of 500 or 5 million, potential clients will typically conduct web searches to determine their options. If you have no web presence, or worse, if your site is stagnant and uninspiring, you will lose business no matter how good your service or product.

What are the top three achievements you are most proud of in your business?
1.)   Testimonials from clients about how we have helped them increase productivity,
boost morale, restore marriages, and assist them in achieving their goals.
2.)   Publishing my first book, Live Your Abundant Life. The next book will be released in
2012.
3.)   Demonstrating to my children how to effectively balance family and career goals.
